  1. A few questions, just so you can flesh this entry out...

    How does storytelling enhance language?

Can you give me an example or examples of storytelling widening people's language from your own life?

What other than language might be understood about storytelling when considering the Z of PD?

  2. Storytelling is enhanced by developing prereading skills. They connect symbols with words. They are able to understand that reading process is read in a left to right pattern. The illustrations have a meaning and can be read without out words and become creative in developing a story. They are a able to retell a story describing their own experiences that might relate to the story. They become familiar with a sequence, the people in the story, and the events.

  4. Same here, Jimmy. I know that we have a great teacher that will mentor us and take us out of our cocoon. I also have another disadvantage. I am not computer savvy so I am new at this blog thing. Nice to have you in class.
